^Lot 211 TAY Tagliariol Ceramic Limpkin Aramus Figurine

Limited Edition numbered 72 of 500. Circa 1970. Handcrafted in Monza, Italy and signed by Giuseppe Tagliariol. Retail tag at base listed item at $950. Also attached to a leg is the manufacturers four page booklet explaining the production process. The beak has two shallow paint scratches and a very small chip at the tip. No other observed condition issues other than needing a good cleaning. Overall size is about 20" x 10" x 6". This is a large shipping item. The Limpkin Aramus - Carrao or "Crying Bird" is found in the sub-tropical and tropical wetlands of the Americas.
